During my time as a teacher, I have become experienced framing things in a way young minds can understand and latch onto. With student's as young as 2 years old in a nursery, there really is no limit to when someone's musical journey can begin. Since becoming freelance, I have been curating my own curriculum based on the Rockschool and Trinity syllabuses, and I have my own selection of songs within each ability level that I have found to work. For small children I also offer ukulele lessons.

Direction

Everyone's musical taste is different, which is why it is important to have a wide repetiore to choose from. Each level has well-known, pop and rock songs. Once each area is at a certain level of proficiency, the lessons can then be led by the student's goals and what music they like to listen to!

Important Information

Safeguarding is my number one priority. I have a fully enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service and certificates in Safeguarding and 'PREVENT' training. Regarding qualifications, I am qualified with a master's in Popular Music Practice.
